[QUOTE=Floridasky;1569492652]Any difference between black and silver ZR-1 engines? Thanks.QUOTE]
There are 2 types of Black LT5s...the ones by performance tuners and owners that painted their LT5s colors INCLUDING BLACK other than the silverish color that came from Merc,
AND, THEN THERE ARE the second group...
those 8 BLACK WIDOWS.

I CAN'T TELL FROM THE PICTURE, BUT DO YOU REMEMBER IF THE ENGINE LOOKS LIKE THE ONE IN THIS PICTURE WITH A BLACK INTERIOR?
If so, the car might be Jim VanDorn's #8 and last the Black Widow: a very collectable car with a great history. I know he was thinking of selling it! For more info, go to this link

Rick Treworgy Muscle Car City Museum
My wife and I visited the Rick Treworgy Muscle Car City Museum on Saturday in Punta Gorda, Florida. Over 200 cars are on display consisting largely of Corvettes. The Museum features a great little dinner and gift shop. It is a must see for any auto enthusiast.

Visited the museum last week, it is an empressive collection of GM vehicles, only GM vehicles.
If your traveling in SW FL on I 75 take exit 161 west to hwy 41 then right about 1/2 mile. The museum will be on your left.
I have two cell phone pix of the black engine mentioned above. If anyone would like to see them I will load them & post in this thread.
