MAT relocation KIT
Hi guys, how are you???
So, i have a questions for you.
I want buy a mat relocation kit for my 1990 Z. On corvette central there are 2 kit available. One is for 1985 to 1991 cars and one for 1992 to 2000.
So, the difference between the kit is in the connector who take the original? I bought some days ago the 1985-91 kit and the connector is wrong. Now i'll like to buy the 1992-2000 kit, in the picture i think that the connector is right.
Sorry for my english!!!!:-(
1985-1991 kit item number 304292
1992-2000 kit item number 304710
Any suggestion appreciated!!
Thanks a lot guys!!!

Its a way of "fooling" the ECM and richen up the mixture. You can do the same thing by changing the calibration. If this is a Manifold Air Temp sensor, then shouldn't it be close to the manifold for an accurate temp reading on airflow entering the plenum?
Doesn't do a thing but is is a cheap mod and some guys I know with C4's swear it does work. For the cost ... why not? it's cheap and looks .. sorta cool.

Pull off the plenum and injector housings and have them ported if you want the car to run better. It's an easy job and dosen't cost much. The MAT relocation kit CAN give you problems that will lead to catastrophy.
I've had mine for quite a few years and I never noticed any difference. If you just want it to run better, swap out that PROM with one from HAT.
Frank would you elaborate. I know you've been around these cars a while so that statement coming from you is making me nervous.
Thanks

Let the chip do all it can do and don't be trying to fool the ECM with altered input.
