You might want to be a little more specific. I'm assuming factory correct laminated ZR-1 windshield? You also need to specify what year as I believe there were at least two different patterns for the radar detector cut-out.
I am looking for the original laminated windshield. My car is a 90 which takes the larger cutout but I would be glad to take one with the small cutout also.
Not trying to be a smartA, but if you don't care about the cutout, why not just put a standard C4 windshield in...much cheaper and easier to locate, etc....
Seems to to me the wrong cutout would be no different or worse, than not being laminated at all.......although I think just about all the replacements were of the later type, so I could be all wet.
I'll just
Jim, I have given some cosideration to that route but I guess to me at least, the look of the laminated piece with the cutout is one of the unique features of the car I would like to maintain if possible. The worst of this whole issue is I found a new original LOF one with the small cutout which I purchased last november. It was just installed the other day. After the installers placed it on the frame and positioned it they proceeded pound the edges with the back of thier fist to seat it in the soft uretane. This resulted in delamination around 70% of the edges and is especially noticeable around the cut out. I am frustrated to say the least.
Kurt White made some a few years ago. They had the wrong writing on them and many broke in shipping....but he still might have some.
that's a sore subject to say the least with him, as i was the one who ended up hand delivering 24 windshields up the new england area a couple years ago so no more would be broken ...lol
Many have delamination but not all... in my case (1990 #566) there is some evident but not enough for me to go find a $2000 replacement OEM type windshield

You delivered mine and it is still in perfect condition. Thank You
