Default need help

Hello all,

Could any of you help me out regarding this history of this car? I'm looking at a possible purchase.

1991 Blk/Blk
1G1YZ23JXM5800170
368 Lingenfelter upgrade (supposedly)
Roll Bar

Doesn't Lingenfelter usually engrave their name on the plenum when they do a conversion?

Thanks in advance!
Paul

Paul:

From an earlier post in which I asked the question about the engraving, it is optional.

To me it would have been mandatory.

Does Lingenfelter keep records that you could call and ask? Does current owner have records?

Good Luck, the hunt is half the fun

The engraving was optional, no additional charge just optional. Paperwork is key. Does the owner have it?

The owner should have the receipt for the work done at LPE. If not you can call LPE to verify the work done with the owners name or the vin. Now the "old" Lingenfelter Performance used to do this.

I think so. The top of the plenum looks dull in the pics, but some of the runners do look polished. Red radiator hoses. Also, it has some kind of matte black checkered graphic going across the left front part of the hood.

lingenfelter shouldn't have a problem sending you copies of the paperwork or atleast confirming they did the work.

But the owner should be able to provide paperwork.
