Boy, how things change uh? is the best thing in life though.

I wish I could make it, eventhough I'm out of the ZR-1s it is about the people not the car. I still call Aaron and Mike once in a while to see what is going on in the car world on the other side " of the Dark Side".

Just too busy with the kids, and their activities., and kind of low in fund$$.
What's going on with the ZR-1? is that the fastest horse in the stable now?

Glad to hear you are back in the saddle, although I'm sure it is probably slower than your 93.
You sure you can still powershift that thing?

Hey Julio, Good to hear from you again.... Boy I sure would like to see you, Would be like old times. Yup, I got a another Vette, Z06 done by Arron and wicked fast, I think maybe a little faster than the old ZR-1. You still have the Z? What you driving now? Maybe we can meet up at Moroso at one of their track events someday?

No Zr-1. I sold my 408 back in 2004 to Kurt White.
Got one of these now...

Julio!

Yessir, things have changed for me... Thx so much, I'm really lookin forward to meeting our little girl next Weds, Good Lord willing!

The ZR is still the fastest for now, but there will be a serious contender w/ the GT-R once the bolt-ons are on & it's tuned for 93 & e85.

How's the Viper TT+++++?

Don't think I'll be able to make it this year--the combo of my wife being very pregnant, and I just changed firms after 10+ yrs & have a massive undertaking moving my clients over...

I'll miss you guys!

Congratulations again George! We'll have a toast at Aarons for the new family addition. Please take time to call Aaron & let us all know.

I was really looking forward to seeing you again, but certainly understand your need to be elsewhere. Still remember our little race with my still "not-broken in" 415. My clutch was toast when I got home. When they say 500 miles of light, stop n go driving, they mean it.

Best to you & your family.

2023 C4 of the Year Finalist- Modified

Default SGC Gathering

Well another great gathering has come and gone. This year there
more zr-1's then any other car model. We had 11 zr-1's, 2 c5's ,
i ford gt, 1 78 annv (AL) and George East's new RED zr1 (no dash).
PLus a bunch of other car guys who came without there cars.
Weather was great just enough sun and cool air to make an enjoyable
day.
I can't remember most of the guys and gals names, but oh hell i
can remember any of them (CSR) at times.
The good news is for those that could not make it , we will do it
again next year per Aaron Scott. so make plans and come out for the
SGC Gathering.

Thanks

What a ZR-1 gathering! I should be ashamed though--this is the only picture I took.

4 C5's John remember. Josh and Kevin from Moody Air Force Base brought their C5's but couldn't stay to long. Yup, we had a very good time at South Georgia Corvette and A big thank you to Arron and Nicolette for having us each year. Also we missed you George & Julio maybe you'll make it next year. Wanna race George? I'm ready.

I think i missed meeting you "Pete". Had to drive a rental this year. I was wearing the orange OSU shirt, harrassing Mike with his longhorn attire.

it was a great gathering. Gnats were tasty, went well with BBQ.
