Anyone check out Ebay?
I was looking through ebay the other day and came upon 4 zr1s' with under 1000 miles! One had only 25 miles on it! Asking price $75000, good luck with that. But there was one for 28K that had 900 miles on it. What I don't get is why someone would drop 60K on a car and not enjoy it and the turn around and sell it for 30K less then he paid for it twenty years later? They were all gorgeous examples though, just like they came off the showroom.

I don't understand ur post. If I had 75g, I would consider that a pretty good deal for a zr1 with 25 miles. That's brand new in my book. No way someone is selling one for 28000. Must be the current bid and I'm sure the reserve is se in the upper 70 or more range.

Like it was mentioned many times before, back in the day people bought these and bubble wrapped them thinking one day they would be worth a fortune...
$75,000 for a C4Z w 25 miles on it ? Ain't happening....Not knocking the car..I own a 91Z.....
There used cars right now....Each generation produced got better and better....People don't want to wrench on cars anymore....Just get in turn the key and let a warranty take care of problems..
28K for a 900 mile example is about right...That is a good deal....
Seen low mileage examples of C6 ZR1's asking mid 60's.....That's half, 60 grand down the tubes ..That car was 120K minimum when new...
Moral to story ? Drive your cars people...Newer generation vettes are not good investments...

First off boys and girls,we don’t criticize and bad mouth posters in this section so take it elsewhere. All of the ads you see for ZR-1s with basically no miles are legitimate, more than just a few out there and people were paying over $100,000 back in 1990. $28,000 for a very low mile car isn’t unheard of.

with zrc cars with 1000 or less for under 30 is common...when I had mine (right after I bought it) I came across an original owner 90 blac/grey which is what I really wanted..$25k. It woulda costa few k in injfectors tires etc but worth every penny. He got old, knew he would never drive it etc
If new cars were turds like the 70s/80s then maybe these would be snapped up but thats not the case. New ones have no appeal to me but when you see a 11 sec 30mpg car with a warranty for the same/less it makes you think.
Still see guys asking about what new vette to order to make it a 1 of 1 collectible? LOL
Good luck bud its a Chevy. Some never learn
