Default Any Secrets on Removing Old Gaskets?

Like the title says I'm trying to remove the OEM gasket from the throttle body to plenum. It very well maybe the original from 1994. It is almost like it has been glued on plenum. Are there any secrets besides a razor blade to getting this removed?....ie: soaking in solvant or thinners etc ??

thanks

Never mind guys, I used some brake cleaner on it to soften it up. Still a lot of scraping but finally got it off.

Be careful with solvents, the paint on the TB and plenum and such can mar easily. Which does make it annoying to get the gaskets off. For some reason the GM one really likes to stick on the TB.
