My 91 ZR1 feels like it is running on 7 cylinders.

I am thinking of shotgunning the problem with new injectors.

Where is the best place to get replacements?

I'd go FIC (stainless new ones and not the rebuilt ones)

I'm in the same boat as you, looking to find some injectors. Glad I came across this thread.

Gaskets & Seals for the job.

New o-rings that fit onto the injectors come with new injectors, so no need to buy them.

Do these require any modification to work in a 91 Z? I know Accels (the other injectors listed) require a bit of small modification to work on the primaries. I see the site states to specify the year, I'm guessing this will elminate the primary issue, I just want to be sure.

Providing the engine specifics could result in whomever is on the supply end to divert you to another injector - with significantly higher $$, and not the Accels spec'd in this thread (this per Marc Haibeck's recommendation to NOT tell them (Summit) what the injectors are for).

So what would be the "engine specifics" to ask for at Summit?

Thanks,

K

Ask for two sets of 8 Accel injectors, part# 150821...period. Or go on line and order them - no questions asked. Not a big deal either way.

Paid $526 for 16 Accels back in 06. Not sure where I bought them... Might have it in the log book. They are working just fine.

Here is the modification required for the Accel's... removing small plastic tab>>

I went with FIC sourced injectors and obtained all 16 for under $400...work great.

IF you are going to replace injectors you as well to inspect/replace as needed/tighten everything that is under the plenum. As you can see there is quite a gaggle of things under the plenum>>

Sorry to revive this thread, but am about to order the Accels. Are they the same part for both the primary and secondary?
