GTB/ZR-1

Thanks so much to Aaron & Nicolette Scott for their wonderful hospitality once again this year. I missed the past 2 (marriage in '09 & little one in '10), so it was good to see some old friends that I hadn't seen in 3 years...

Sam from Switzerland came over (definitely wins the long-distance award!) & is just a cool character--The Swiss' equivalent to SGC, as he mods LT5s over there. He had some great stories & insight abt ZR-1s in Europe. He took a bunch of pics & I'm sure he'll chime in & post the pics.


The turnouts have been waning over the last few years from the glory days, so...
I think we need to make it a ZR-1/ZR1 Gatherings in the future--let's get the new guys to join us!

Thx, Jerry. I was a member of that forum some years ago, but cannot seem to log into it anymore--whatever I try! I think my username was GTB ZR1 (no slash or hyphen).

Can anyone see if I have any 'ghost' posts on there?

George, theres no GTB ZR1 username. You may be thinking of Mom's old site, ZR-1.net After the LT5 Registry went down the tube, a new organization was formed in Nov 2004. Instead of a one man deal, the new organization, ZR-1 Net Registry, was formed as a non-profit corporation and is managed by an elected group of 9 officers & directors. The ZR-1 Net Registry also has state and regional directors. We have a few, very active groups of members, FBI (Fast Boys of Illinois and Wazoo (Baltimore/DC area) that get together every week or so and work on each others ZR-1's, go racing , or just do pizza & beer.

It's that time of year again to renew memberships and it would be great to have you join. Please contact the following & "tell George I sent you!"
