Can someone take a peek at their (or recall from memory) pumpkin and see if the y-pipe rests snuggly against it or if there is a little gap?
When we hung the new exhaust today there was no way to avoid having it do so on my Z - I assume it was that way before but didn't look. I assume it has to as the hangers are all the same and should, well, hang at the same height as before.
So no gap at all huh? That's rather odd as there just seems to be no way that it won't contact the bottom of the diff. I'm not certain how I'd adjust it so there was gap...the hangers are fixed in how high or low they hang, correct?
Should be about 1/2"-3/4" clearance with no ability to bounce up and hit it over bumps. Pic is not of a stock exhaust, but its mounted and adjusted the way it a stock one should be too.
