Default Sparkplug Gap
The NKG website states to gap plugs at .050 for my '91 ZR-1. Is this correct?

The FSM says 0.035" for the LT5. That's based on the compression and the coils the motor uses and the length of wires, etc. etc. 0.035" works for me like a charm both at idle and WOT.

I think the gap was widened in '93 when the plugs were changed to platinum plugs, along with the handful of other changes to achieve 405hp. No change to the compression ratio or coils.
