The full power light on the power switch on my buddy's 94 Z is burnt out. He pulled the switch out, opened it up and the bulb is a tiny green little guy on a board inside the keyed switch. Does anyone know how you go about changing this bulb? Does it just pull out or is there more involved? Can it be changed for a LED/SMD bulb? Where would he get a new one? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
No one ever had this light burn out? Seems odd I admit especially with his car being lower mileage (110,000 kms) but someone has to have had this issue? The power switch in his car works perfectly but he wants the light working. Is this power switch still available anywhere?
I'm going by memory. I think the bulb is a rectangular LED. It probably wasnt available separately since they would seldom fail. You might be able to find one at an electronics store. If you need the entire switch I do have one that I would sell.
