Default Houston Coffee & Cars (Nov 2nd) - ZR1/ZR-1 Gathering

Houston ZR-1 owners...

Each month some of us Houston-based ZR1 owners have been getting together at Houston Coffee & Cars, and a few of our ZR1 owners also have ZR-1's. A couple ZR-1's will be showing up to tomorrow's event if you want to bring yours out too.

Link to the info page.

If you post in that thread that you will be coming, I will hold a spot for you.

Hope to see some of you out there!

I think I just might show up this week. Save me a spot. How early do y'all arrive?

Will do...

I get there pretty early to cone off our section (see the other thread for location within the event), and most cars show up 6:30ish to 7:00ish. Please try to be there no later than 7:15-7:30, because we start getting dirty looks past that for saving spots in the 'showy' area.

no problem, I'll have to dig around bit for the info for the guy I ordered the bracket from, but it is easy enough.

Interested in your final modification.. Had to use tubing bender and a lot of patience to get the OEM tube to clear SSW headers. Ok for now, but not what I want for final. Thanks! FYI, post in ZR-1 forum for pics and short video.

Been thinking about attending this again. The last time I was out there was when me and Mike Daniels met up over a year ago. Missed it this month though.

there is a guy over on ZR1.net named Paul Workman that I bought a dipstick relocation bracket from. It gives you a way to mount the original dipstick after a SW Header install. I'm not sure if works for other brands, but it would be worth a try. I saw he is on this forum too, in your thread. I think maybe another guy the goes by "jeffvette" makes them.

I know them. Ryan I've been so busy with my new hobby "Hunting" that I haven't even been thinking about car shows. It's addicting. I'm going to the ZR-1 BBQ this year but I'll have my family with me so I won't be bringing the vette this time. Right after that I'll be heading to Austin to visit family.
