Question: 1991 ZR-1 Owner's Manual
I just bought a '91 ZR-1. It came with no manuals, documentation, etc. Did the ZR-1's come with a "ZR-1 Owner's Manual" or just a regular '91 C4 Owner's Manual? If a ZR-1 Manual, does anyone have one to sell? Thanks,
Wayne

The ZR-1 owners kit has the ZR-1 manual in it, As stated the car came with the standard Manual "kenpeindl" posted above.
Note: the cam cover & plenum key rings did not come in the kit.

[QUOTE=kenpeindl;1591315299]I have a 91 owners manual, along with what is in the pics, I was going to post. I'll give you first dibs on it $50 shipped.
Based on the other posts, I'll buy yours as long as the condition is excellent. The pictures seem to show that. Please confirm. Please email me at wsaugenstein@hotmail.com with your paypal or other payment information. Thanks,
Wayne

2. Is the "pizza box" the black or dark gray box under the VHS tape and window sticker?
3. Does it say "1991" on it, or are the pizza boxes for all years the same?
4. Do you want to sell any of what you have, or do you know anyone who is selling any of the items? Thanks,
Wayne

Yes the large gray box. they are the same box 90-91 I'm not sure about 92 but the 93 had a different kit.
Some of the items in the first pic I have found over the years and were just in that pic.
You used to be able to get the window sticker and build sheet thru the NCM.

Here is what came with my 91 in the box.

It's been tough working on my new '91 ZR-1 here in NJ with 30+ inches of snow and my office telephone system and internet being down for 5 days last week and 2 days this week. I just got telephone and internet back and started to go through 100's of messages, and then ran across a message from "Kenpeindl" here on CF directing me to an Ebay sale of a 1991 "pizza box." I had already bought a '91 Owner's Manual and other documents from Ken, which proved out to be a great buy. So I clicked on the link he sent me, and lo and behold, a complete '91 pizza box with a starting bid of $139.00 with 5 days left or "buy me now" for $199.00. I couldn't click "buy me now" fast enough, and now I bought it for $214 with expedited shipping. Ken - I can't thank you enough. As they say in Maine (but not here in NJ), that's not just "some good," it's "wicked good." And again, thanks everyone for all the great info on this thread and the other ZR-1 threads I'm running.

When I saw that I immediately knew it was for you. At $214 it is a great buy given the condition it looks to be in. I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did. Good to hear you got it. Sure made my day.

I received the "Pizza Box," and, other than a few scrapes on the VHS box and a slight 2" separation on one of the seams of the box (which a little glue will fix), it's in very nice condition. The original owner of the Vette that had this Pizza Box was D. Prouty for VIN #1130. The only thing I don't see is the Cassette "Sampler." Did that come in the Box, or was it supplied to all 91 Vettes?

The music system cassette tape would have come as part of the owners packet. I just recently tracked down the 3 cassette tapes for my 90. Here is a pic of the tapes which should be the same for the 91.

Thanks for the info Ken. I thought I was through looking, but I guess I have to track down the three cassettes and "an important note to corvette owners" that's on the left side of your photo above. I don't remember if that was part of what you sent me.

Your never done as I've been at it for 6 months myself. When you think your close to being done you find something else you need. I must have purchase 6-7 tapes until I figure which ones I needed. It very rare to get these tape with the owners packet. None of the ones I purchase ever came with them. You'll find them here and there on eBay or the forum. I'll keep an eye out for you. The one with the C4 logo is specific to the year. And I know so far they did come with the 86 to 90 cars. Haven't seen any yet that are for 91 or newer. I know the music sampler tape changed for the 92 cars but the one in the pic is correct for your 91. As Wayne Carini would say "it's all about the chase"
