I dont buy it (anything possible though) but someone who knows what he has wont let it get shoddy looking anywhere unless elements or time just got to it which happens. Not hard to change mileage.
Someone may bite, paying in advance for perceived future value, good luck have fun! Why are there so many out there like this for sale now?
Frustrating singing my tune. Been looking on/off for almost a yr now at a few different modes of transportation. Some totally ignorant to the cars problems others just looking to make a buck and stick you with a major headache; only reason why I still got my aging DD not worth selling and I know what Im dealing with
Maybe all these carflipper shows have something to do with it.
Every car or truck out there even 3 yr old stuff has the "rare classic future collectible" bs attached somewhere in the ad. Uncle

Also, Could be the reason the vehicle was advertised was to show it off then pull the ad.

And ALL 3 "identical" to be less the transparent 2 top option (C2L) - interesting.

Drifting
For what they want in the $60K range this car maybe a hard sale for that price, but who knows. I remembered there was a 95 Polo Green ZR-1 last year in the Bellevue area outside of Seattle with almost no driven miles at all. Who knows what that sold for?

#445, #446, & #447 were all built on 4/21/95 for the same person, and were all yellow/ black with the solid top only. They were ordered by some poor businessman in my area (also a poor area) who wanted to gift the other two to special employees and keep #447 for himself. The sad thing is, even if you just sit these cars in the garage, the windshield delaminates, the weatherstrip cracks, the visors buckle, and so many other things just die of old age. Low miles does not mean no issues.

My own opinion is that in the end, Corvettes didn't seem so important anymore. Mr. 447, if you are out there, hope things are going ok.

Don't know why one would think it a scam, a mileage fraud, or a story.
Why so skeptical?
Facts:
build sheet proves #447
window sticker proves # 447
door data plate proves # 447
documents, which are SUPER COOL indicate #447
There is NO Doubt that the car is # 447
It is also factual that #448 was never sold to the public.
So 447 is indeed the LAST ZR-1 sold to the public, without a doubt.
OK, condition versus mileage
Let me first make a comment. ZR-1's were typically bought and owned by usually die hard Corvette Guys.
While this one, and the two others, may have been bought by such a guy, my guess is that perhaps the folks they were given to, knew them to be valuable based on the cost, but maybe they were not really
crazed owners like many of us. They may not have covered every inch of the car in condoms, and covered it with the finest cloth known to man, only peeking at it gingerly, while waxing it weekly.
Maybe they even, hold on now, SAT IN IT!
Looking at all of the pictures, the car clearly, with the exception of the console pieces and the creasing of the seat leather, is absolutely consistent with mileage in the hundreds.
The engine compartment, tires, suspension components, etc., support that conclusion with little if any doubt.
The price:
low mile cars command a premium; have for years.
95's command a premium
95's almost always have some of the highest asking prices by owners looking to sell, and have for many, many years.
$69,900.00 for a 600 mile car that is the last ZR-1 sold to the public seems very reasonable to me.
I can see it selling for that price, and having room for appreciation with minimal mile additions, and some very minor cosmetic corrections.
Very Nice car, and a significant piece of Corvette History!
Car will be a very COOL addition to someone's collection!
Then buy a moderate mile driver for fun!!!
