This sale will give us a fresh snapshot on collector car ZR-1 values. I am going to guess it will make to around 37K when the hammer drops.

Wow!.....this is definitely a time capsule. It really IS a brand new car! Beautiful! It would almost be a shame to start using it regularly, as it has survived all these years in this state and with this mileage.

I see your point because we all want our nice vehicles to stay pristene. However, life is for the living and you can't take it with you... so... enjoy it while you can since we are all on our way to becoming "time capsules".

Owned by a private collector since new......Well, you figure he paid 60K for the car.......I remember a 79 Trans am anniversary model with I believe around 300 miles crossing the blocks a few months ago ....If I'm not mistaken it sold for 110 thousand......Don't quote me but, it was a ridiculous amount...

This will be a good test to see how the market will fluctuate with ZR1

I wonder if that "Dealer Sticker" is from the original purchase. I can't imagine an original 1st time buyer not removing it OR for that matter even allowing it to be applied in the first place. That's actually quite difficult to look at. I'd think it could have certainly had an effect on the $$$'s generated. I'd wager that.

As crazy as this sounds, I think the seller is the one who made out well. There's a red 90Z on ebay right now with 127 actual miles with 12 hours left and it's only up to 23,500. Either way, that's a lot of car for the money.

At $23,500 it is undervalued, however, that is a typical bid condition until we get to the final minutes. Even in the final minutes it may turn into reserve not met finale.

Reserve or no reserve on car? Can't imagine anyone would let it go for anything under $30k.
There was a 1991 in the Chicagoland with 12k miles on it, sold for much higher and went overseas to Belgium.

The car had no reserve on it.
