MY FIRST ZR-1
Guess I'm going to have to modify my username.
Just purchased the 1991 ZR-1 #1768 with 16,000 miles on it. It's turquoise metallic/saddle (looks green in sunlight and bluish in the shade) and is totally stock. My neighbor helped me put on a serpentine belt as soon as I got it home. I have ordered in some Amsoil for an oil change right away.
I know that I'm going to drive some of you nuts with questions that I can't seem to find answers for in the owners manual. To start off, how much fluid does is take for a drain and refill for the trans & rear end?
Sorry, no pictures. I don't have a digital camera and I don't think that WebTv cares if I did.
Thanks to UncleRobin for running a CARFAX for me on this Z, and thanks to everyone else for your posts and replies over the last several months that have helped me to learn things about the KOTH that I wouldn't have thought of to ask myself.

Re: MY FIRST ZR-1 (KC98C5)
Sweet, on the purchase
The tranny will hold about 2.5 quarts of GM Part#1052931
I don't know the rear end capacity as that is next on my list as well. Also check out http://www.zr1.net there is a lot of great information over there. And if you do get a picture of the car sometime in the future, E mail it to me and I will gladly post it for you.

If I remember correctly 2.2qts for the transmission--1.5 qts for the rear. Tranny plug has drain and fill. Both are Metric allen/hex you can get at autoparts (if you don't have them); tranny is a VW size tool. Forgot the rear. If you need to know I can go look.

Congratulations on the new addition to your family!
Any particular reason you have chosen to go with Amsoil instead of Mobil 1? Just curious. BTW, there is not a drain plug on the rear end. you will have to suck it out. Don't forget the required 4.0 oz limited slip additive for the positrac unit, GM #1052358. Congratulations Again!!

Re: MY FIRST ZR-1 (Scoob)
Scoob---Yes that the one I have I can tell because of that front license plate thing that just has to go.
The car didn't reach the reserve price on eBay, but the seller was motivated to sell and it was only about 60 miles away so I didn't have to trailer it or ship it.
