Default Was looking for a C5, but ???

I was looking for a C5, but so far, my parameters have not yielded any potential local candidates yet. If I could get a good deal on a local, older ZR1, I might just do that instead. Anyone know of any good deals(I could spend up to $20k) on a ZR1 in the L.A. area? :smash:

For $20K you'll have a tough time finding either.

For mid-20s you'll find a lot of well kept ZR1s that will run circles around a C5.

http://www.zr1.net/ZR1_sale.html has a 90 ZR1 for under 20 in Cali. You can find ZR1s with close 100k miles for 20k but you'll have to be patient. The only C5 you'll find that cheap are high milage 97 automatics.

I know of 35k mile cars going for $20k...its very rare though. Just constantly scan the net and be patient.

Try a ZR-1 for a couple of years. You will always be able to find a nice C5, or keep the Z for a long time. Great power and excitement the ZR-1 is still "King of the Hill". :yesnod:

Discussion is over now, I just bought a BMW M Coupe, let the flames begin, but it's a real fun car. I can always get a Vette later if the need arises? Take care :seeya

Rofl. No, if you drive a BMW "M" coupe you don't like sports cars. You like sporty "sedans". Have fun with your praticality :)

You may be confusing this car with another model. This car has 2 doors, 2 seats, & a small area in back for a few bags of groceries. That doesn't really make it practical, but I'm not worried about that, my daily driver is a Pickup truck, which is very practical for my needs.
