Default New 1990 ZR-1 owner

Hey Guys,

Just purchased a '90 ZR-1 (black) and it will be here next week as its shipping today.

Quick stats: I'm the third owner, car has 27k miles on it with a Borla car back. Pretty much stock, but very clean.

I'm also a C6 Z06 owner and still can't believe I'll be a proud owner of a real ZR-1. Talk about the "unicorn"...

Just joined ZR1 registry as well..Lots for me to learn.

Thanks!

Love the mirror shine! C4 is one of the iconic "Corvette" designs, imho. That it's a ZR-1 is just icing on the cake.

Congratz!! You're a man after my heart - I want a C6 ZO6 for a stable mate for my ZR-1: = another iconic treasure, IMO. The 427 cid too is headed for the history books, I suspect. What a pair to draw to!

Paul, I like the way you think!

I do believe the ZR-1 will become a highly collectable Corvette in the future. Time will tell...My guess on the C6 Z06 is that it will be a "desirable" vs. "collectable" Corvette.

It's a fun conversation as the LS7 was a true engineering milestone for GM. Either way, I'm pinching myself, apart from marrying my dream girl (wife), as dreams really do come true.

I appreciate everyone's time to look at the pictures and complement the car. It's not perfect, but it's pretty darn close.

Really nice, there is a 90 ZR1 like yours about 65 miles from me, Black/Gray with 50k for miles, not as low miles as yours but still not bad, small dealer has it listed for 18.2k, looks nice in the pictures and comes with the original docs, should go look at it but no room for a 3rd one.
