First off I am a C 1-2 guy but I am checking this out for a close friend in Austria. That being said he e-mail me and said someone on the Forum posted something about GM having a lot of extra ZR 1 ZF 6spd transmissions. I have called 2 local dealers and they know nothing about it. Anyone here know anything about it. If so is there a part # or place to call and get more info? Please PM me because I do not hang out in this part of the Forum or e-mail me mikes54vet@aol.com

That selloff happened probably 6 or 8 years ago. Folks grabbed the trannies for safe keeping PDQ. They are out there lurking in private places.

I had 2 new ones but sold both this year. The bargains are gone & you will simply have to advertise on the forums to find a willing seller. Good luck..
