Default map sensor

Is there anything I should know before changing out the map sensor? before and after on my 91 zr1 running rich right now

​​​​​​no it should be pretty straight forward. Plug and play. If it has been runnig rich for a while, you should blank the computer to help it relearn faster. And i would go with GM parts not generic ones. The entire fuel curve depends on what that part is telling the WCU.

yes check the little hose and make sure it's changed out

you'd be surprised how much oil finds it way in and tends to gunk up the work and swell the hose until it falls off

you'll know it when it does, and now is the time!!

is the hose a dealer item? I have never had it blow off the fit is very tight must be replaced? Dealer item? Thanks for info
