Default First Northern Nevada FBI Chapter Outing

We seem to have developed a small group of 5 here in the Reno area so far. For our first "outing" yesterday only two of us made it because of the holiday and other commitments. Still great to have two of our cars together at the same time. A rare sight, especially in a place like Reno.
Tony and I had a great time explaining what an LT5 was to numerous folks. Pix are attached.

Who's '90? Are the "reversed" wheels intentional?

Mine, funny never noticed. Have only had the car for 3 months.
Will correct that shortly.

I just moved from Corona to Sparks Nevada in February. There are several near you. Mike100 who posts here and over on the ZR1.net forum is near you in Temecula. You can PM him directly. 2 more in Rancho Santa Margarita and one in Garden Grove. I'm sure there are more. PM me and I can send you emails for the ones in Rancho and GG.

The monthly "Block" run is also a good place to meet Vette people in general. Great group!

I need to get the SkunkZ road worthy and make a trip up to Reno from down here in Sin City. Several LT5 pilots down here in the valley.

Works for me... I was also thinking of a Western Gathering in conjunction with Hot August Nights here in Reno next year.

Right now the biggest need is new back tires...imagine that...

And the other night coming home from the gym it developed a stumble, need to pull the plugs and see how they look. Beast runs extremely rich.

Hans,

We discussed that but we want to do an "inaugural" or test mountain run. A place like Colorado offers a number of driving venues like Pikes Peak, plus it could draw from places like Texas, Nebraska, Utah etc. We have a group discussing it if u would like to participate in laying something out.

Count me in. Having lived in the Denver area for 5 years I'm fairly familiar with the area. There are lots of possible routes for Mountain runs to great destinations. There is also the the yearly Vettes on the Rockies event we could tie into.
