On the C5 and C6 I know for a fact that there are aftermarket seats that drop seat height by a couple of inches, I've sat in them. So these options simply do not exist for the C4?

Z51Jeff, I've talked to two seat companies today, both of which are saying that the only way to get 2+ inches is to do fixed seat, no sliders and to go 2.5 inches or 3 would have to do minimal seat cushion and/or custom forming. This is probably what you were eluding to in your post...

the dream is dying

480 crank horse ? Hmm....I'm at 382 RWHP at 7,000 rpm with ported top end , headers and full exhaust..Figure I'm at 440 crank if you figure 15% drivetrain loss...Can't see a 375 horse stock Z going to 480 with those mods....
