Default Yellow ZR-1

How many yellow exterior with white interior ZR-1s were made? I believe one or two. One was in a magazine article.

In any event, is there an easy way to find the owner of various option combos?

Would you happen to know the name of this dealer? Conversely, would your friend be interested in selling his?

Anyone have an idea what this ZR1 might be worth?

Excellent - thanks so much. That helps me gauge where the reserve may be set.

I know this one isn’t the one you’re looking for but here is a yellow ZR-1 I came across for sale. It’s not mine just passing this along.

Mecum has the yellow 93 ZR1 as the bid goes on and it is 37 grand. The car was 50 grand but some one talked her into the auction and it sold for 27250 the week before mecums auction To many hands in the pie with 10% sellers and buyers fees. Some one is trying to make a killing on this car and watch e-bay it will be listed soon!

I was just about to post this. I was surprised the bids went up to $37k for the car. I would put a premium for rare colors at $2,000-4,000. Assuming low miles the car is worth $25k plus the $2k-4k premium for rareness, which puts it right at the $27,250. So, the fact that bids went up to $37k at Mecum is astounding.

I watched the Mecum broadcast when this ZR1 went across the block and am pretty sure they were accepting fake bids in order to try to get to the seller’s reserve amount (my guess is it was $40,000). The $37,000 bid came out of the blue so my guess is actual bids may have reached $35,000 (still a lot). In the end, I’m glad my final bid at the GAA Auction was $27,000 as who knows how much higher the ultimate buyer might have gone since he seems to think it’s worth a lot.
