Hello, has anyone out there with a C4 ZR1 replaced the shocks with other than the Bilstein?
If so, what brand did you choose and why?
Is there anything needed to do with the Selective Ride Control unit?
Any info is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Rick J
I don't have a good answer if you are looking to replace only the shocks, but when my FX3 shocks go bad, I'm going to splurge on some adjustable coilovers. Not looking to slam the vehicle into the ground, but I don't plan to search far and wide to find someone to rebuild or replace the FX3 shocks.

Read somewhere that Bilstein will not rebuild the original shocks but will do their aftermarket ones...just some food for thought.
I did just purchase a set of QA1's single adjusters and will most likely be installing 'em tomorrow.

Do the aftermarket Bilstein shocks perform exactly as the original FX3 shocks? Or does Bilstein just provide a resistor to plug into the factory connector, and then the selector switch becomes a fidget spinner?

The aftermarket FX3 Bilsteins work exactly like the OEM shocks. The only difference are the labels/stickers and generic performance valving.
