Default CLUTCH SMELL

Well I kind of broke in the ZR tonight, and was learning to "launch" it. In the process, I smelled the clutch for the first time.

My question is, I know this isn't good on it, but how long will the clutch last? Did I just knock off 10,000 miles of use?

Thank you!!

Roger

Well it dosen't help the clutch any but here and there you should be fine.

I would say if you do alot of burnouts expect to replace the clutch at 30,000.

Of course 1 good burnout can glaze the clutch or grenade the driveline components.

Let's just say you are not going get 100,000 - 150,000 miles on the clutch if you do burnouts alot

on one of my daily drivers I have 130,000 and still have the original clutch which is in good shape -- it proves that the clutches are pretty meaty.
