Found these headers on Ebay. But something looks wierd to me. the collector seems to be pointing perpendicular to the cylinder head. These don't look like they would bolt up to any LT5 that I've seen. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2419238483
The seller name could be the same fella who sold me some "racing cams" which turned out to be stock.
It really makes you wonder where they came from. Has anyone asked the guy?
Yes, I asked. Here is the text of my questions:
>>Hi, who makes these headers? I have a '94 ZR-1 that needs headers! How many miles do you figure they have on them? Are any of the tubes dented? Thanks for your time.<<
And his response:
>>I am not sure of the brand because I got them with my zr-1 when I bought it. There is a small indention, but I think it is for clearance. They look good and I am not sure if they have even been run on a car. They look like they have not been run long if they were on a car.
Thanks,
Chris<<
We must have smelt a rat cause he pulled the headers off EBay.
I would not say that, he did pull them off ebay.. Maybe he found out he didn't know what he had. If so he did the right thing.
He does have a good rating on ebay.
Those headers came with a Z he bought from gene at the karshop in Florida.
:iagree: that's right he bought a ZR-1 from karshop that had been torn apart by the previous owner who was going to make it into whatever
the auction that karshop sold the car said the cams you bought were racing cams so Chris is only going off what he was told no real facts
I was looking at buying the ZR-1 off of him for 14K and taking it off his hands but it was going to be for my wife and she said we had to wait so
if anyone wants a 90 with 17000 miles I think he'll let it go for 15K now that the front end is painted
