Default Another Header question

I figured I should get new gaskets when I install the headers, right? Or are you guys re-using the gaskets on the car?

Anyone recommend a good set, or are the original GM gaskets just fine?
Thanks again,
Ed

New gaskets.

I can't remember if new gaskets came with mine or I bought new ones from GM. Damn, the mind is the ...something something...

I used new gaskets on mine. I got em from Kurt White at Whites Racing Products. I think they were around 44.00, the locale Chevy dealer said they showed them still available, but no one had a set in stock. If I wanted em I would just have to wait until they made some, that was unexceptable for me. So I ordered a set from Kurt White, I had em in three days. Thanks Kurt. The second option I had was not using gaskets and going with copper silicone instead. I checked with Brian Asplaugh on this and he said since I had the gaskets just use them as sealing was not an issue with the LT5, but he also stated that no gaskets will seal as good as copper silicone. So I guess either or will work. Hope this helps 84 CF 91 ZR-1

I am using the stock GM gaskets. They work just fine.
