Camshaft sensor issues
Still throwing a code 31 (cam sensor) could this in any way be causing a fuel rich condition in the motor. I've got what seems to be raw fuel dumping out. Fuel pressure checks with in spec. Only other possibility is the ECM is not pulsing the injectors and closing them, or RC sent me some incorrect injectors and they are flowing to much.
Jeff if you have access to another ECM try that as we just changed Jim's ECM to my car and I imediately got codes 31 36 and 65 and the car would barely run. He was getting these codes on his car untill he put in my ECM. Lots of black smoke and raw fuel as well. Jim id the one with a cam sensor if you need it.
Also THANKS for the lifters they arrived yesterday and I can understand them more now. They look like the Northstar lifters.

Re: Camshaft sensor issues (Jeffvette)
Ok here is a update.
Borrowed a ecm and cam sensor from locobob.
OK, code 31 is gone, so I do have a bad sensor, tried it on my ECM, and then Robs ECM, Still not holding idle, and am no longer throwing a code 33.....
By scanner, do you mean a Tech 1? If so, let me know where to locate other cartridges, if you find out. I just got a tech 1, and need to find out what code my brother's FX3 is throwing - but I'm not sure if the powertrain cartridge will work for this purpose. Who knows something about the Tech 1?

I'll be purchasing a scanner soon

Just use a paper clip for those codes :D
I'll more than likely be gettign a scan ease or something along those lines.
