code 56 need help

My manuals are for the 94 ZR-1 so I hesitate to give you advice from my manuals. I have 2 suggestions for you while waiting for someone to post the answers you need.
1. Disconnect the battery for 1 minute to clear the code, then re-connect. Drive the car & see if the code re-sets.
2. Buy the GM service Manuals. They will more than pay for themselves in a short time.

Dear sir ferstly thanx for the reply
i have got my hands on a service manual for My1992
but what i got is somthing that i dont understand it says
secondary air inlet selinoid valve wich is no 19
could that problem be happning from a leek in one of the lines or do i have to order and change the unit quated above
one other thing i tride to finde this ubet at white racing products on his site and no luck it shows that the part no that needs to be changed as per GM part no is 16231141 is there a replacmint for it or do i have to install the same part exactly

Sorry mine only shows a code 56 for a ZR-1 / LT5 :confused: "Port Throttle vaccum Sensor Low or High" I think it stops at 1993 too :nonod:

Dear sir i am planning to do the work myself and an expearinaced mecanic the thing is that we only have like 6 zr1s in saudi araibia and not a lot of people have expriance on thim so we well go the service manual step by step and hopefolly we well have done
but i need to know what should i change
what is olso a posebellaty is that there is a vacume leak in one of the plastick linse under the intake that mite olso cos the problem well i am only gussing
if u have any info on the code 56 please help me out

dear sir thanx for the reply i have changed the censor under the plunem but the problem got wors naw the car dos not go to full power no matter what rpm i am in with setch in full
i ded not yet cancel the codes in the ECM that is what i well do tommowro hopefally it well fex all ??
i well see and keep u updated
i have one more ????
hdos it take long for the ECM to reprobram it self to go back to standard setting haw many miles do i need to drive it or i should gust deleat it with a scan tool

i ded that but after that the lite kame back as soon as i opend the full power kye after that i skand the var agin and there was a code 26 :mad :confused: i relly dont know what to do i well remove the plenum tomowro one more time and i well chik the vacume linse one more time

cheked the lines all ok made a foll chekc on the ecu unets and oll ok
