I'm trying to negotiate a 1993 Ruby red with 30000 miles, two owner car is there anything I should be aware of. I currently own a 1985 coupe with 40000 miles, and am fearful of the potential additional costs of maintence for a ZR-1 over the standard C-4. Should this be a concern? I'm a mature older driver been involved with cars/motorcycles for years. Car would not be abused although I would "unwind" it on occassion. What kind of mileage can I reasonably expect to get out of the clutch before replacement?

In regards to clutch it obviously depends on how hard its been driven.
I had a 92 with 134,000 miles on the clutch and it was still fine.
Other people burn them in 30,000.

Hope you get it and when you do, you can go to www.40thregistry.com/ and figure out your Ruby Z number. In fact if you do go there, you can find out a lot of history on the car with the VIN...like where it originally came from. I also recommend using Carfax to check the history.
