Default Duty Cycle Examples

OK for the techies out there. Using some Datamaster files I have this is my take on the Duty Cycle stuff. The first is my LPE 368 of some years ago, it was running rich at the time. A couple of cavats:
1. Datamaster does not report accurate rpm over 6350 rpm so at the top end its somewhat of a guess. You can guessetimate going to 7200 and see what happens.
2. Did not have the WB 02 readings
3. I used .51 as the scaler that applies when the secondary injectors come on line.

This is for the 390/396 ci using 225 primary and 240 sec and a .41 Scaler.

This is a 415 run by Kurt White 3 years ago, note the Duty Cycle does not look like its problematic. Again without a corresponding WB 02 read one is not completely sure. I am pretty sure it was pretty close. Using .51 scaler. These were his original stock injectors.

Enjoy.

interesting stuff!! sure wish EASE or datamaster would step up and fix alot of the sofware bugs that would help out tuning.

the LT5 camp is so far behind the others in this area, and it doesn't look like it will get better unless the grass roots guys continue to do alot of research.

we hope to get marc h. to help us write some aritlces in the future.

tuning the big strokers is a challenge even for the pros.
