Hi everyone.
One of my buddies here in Kansas City area has a nice 93 Ruby Red Coupe for sale. Vette has a little over 51K and has all the right equipment:
- dual roofs
- climate control
- CD/cass Bose
- sport seats.
Has also a B&B Tri Flo exhaust to go with the Vette and factory one is available too.
I took the attached photos, I also have several QuickTime videos of the car that I can email separately.
Please contact using info in Sig and we'll send more details.

This is my car and I take offense to the post BLK80SIX keeps making. The car is in excellent condition, the weather striping is cracked as it is on most other vettes, the seats do not need re-covered, the pictures show the only wear area is on the drivers side bolster and it is just discolored, no holes. The exhaust is a B&B Tri Flo - it is quite a bit louder than stock, however I do still have the stock exhaust, if the potential buyer is interested. I think Ken has established a very good reputation on the forum and he took the pictures and has inspected the car. Please view the car for yourself and make your own decision if you are interested. Thanks.

Why would you want black interior and black seats in a 40th vette, i thought that the interior is what sets the car off. I like the ruby red interior and seats but that is just me

You are indeed correct. Part of the 40th Anniversary Package included a Ruby Red leather interior, this color leather was not available on any other color Vette, and is therefore exclusive to the 40th Package. The other "cosmetics" that were exclusive to this package included 40th Anniv. fender badges, "chrome" nose and gas door emblems. ruby red center caps for the rims, and of course the paint color itself. All '93 Vettes wear the 40th Anniv. logo embroidered headrests. The story behind the ruby color is that it was the idea of a female GM designer by the name of Sarah Devries. She developed the Ruby idea with the thought that the ruby (the actual gem) is something that is typically given to celebrate a 40th wedding anniversary. The story also goes that since GM missed out on producing a 30th Anniv. car, they did not want the 40th Anniv. of the Vette to pass without a special offering.
So, if you had a Ruby and chose to remove the stock interior and change it to a black leather interior, that would certainly be up to the individual owner, but you would be detracting from the uniqueness of the car.

If your car looks as good as these pics... it's beautiful! I looked at several 40th's this past spring.. and in no way did they come close to this!! If they would have.. I would have one!! If I only lived closer!! Good Luck!

Car is SOLD. Someone locally purchased it.
Thanks for all of the nice posts. The car is in as good of shape as the pictures show. Thanks to Ken at the VETTENET for all of his help, I will definately use them to buy my next vette, hopefully sometime soon.
