I'd say it's at least 480hp, but I think it's more. Have not taken it to the track. It was fun to build, cost me about 20k total. All machining was done by Miller machine in Haverhill, ma. Everything is balanced and machined to spec, all clearances, etc. Block was descked so the pistons are .005" in the hole, and use a .039" head gasket to attain .044" quench. The pistons are inverse dome, mirroring the combustion chamber of the aluminum Trickflow heads.
The comp-306 camshaft makes tons of power, and lopes at idle but with the '730 speed density ECM conversion, and tuning by me the car drives wonderfully on the street and has tons of power. It also passes Massachusetts emissions on an IM240 emissions dyno at various speeds and throttle conditions.
I want $18,500 cash, or will trade for an equal value stock C5 with a 6 speed manual transmission. Or I'll keep the car. I don't have to sell it, but I kinda wanna build an LS1 for fun.
Reply here if interested, or if you think I'm out of line.

My opinion is that you'll have trouble finding someone who wants to pay 18.5k for an 87. I'm not saying you won't, I'm just saying you need to find the right buyer. Hang in there, don't sell it for less than what it's worth to you.
Pics will help.
Good luck.

I like the car, so the only reason I'd let it go is to trade for a C5, or equal amount of cash to pick up a 97-98 with a 6 speed.
