Default Fully modified Corvette

1987 Corvette, with 91-96 bumpers + brackets/lights, fenders, and moldings. ALL GM parts, no crap 'conversion parts' it's done RIGHT.
Brand new paint, black saphire metallic.

Engine:
358 CID small block, 4 bolt mains, high nickel block, 1pc rear seal
Forged steel crankshaft, fully balanced
SCAT H-beam rods, 5.850" rod length
JE/SRP inverse dome forged pistons, molly rings
Comp cams cc-306 camshaft
Comp hydraulic roller lifters
Full roller rockers
Cloyes true-double roller timing chain
Miniram-II
Trickflow heads, angle milled to 55cc
10.14:1 compression ratio, runs on pump gas no problems
Propper quench (.044"), fully machined block w/ receipts
58MM BBK Throttle body
36lbs white top LS1 style injectors
Accel high voltage coil, msd 8.5 wires
Mallory hi-fire ignition box
Fluid damper
1227730 ECM, with ostrich for real-time tuning
Hooker 2149 full length headers
True dual exhaust, with dual bullet cats
LT1 style turbo mufflers
Passes MASS emissions, on IM240 emissions dyno

Transmission:
700R4, factory replacement transmission
Transgo shift kit, properly installed, modified valve body, etc
New gaskets + seals
Raptor 5x torque converter, 2800stall, etc.

Rear end:
Richmond 3.54:1 gears
All new bearings + seals
New yoke
Proper rebuild, c-clips, all clearances in spec, no noise.

Body/Interior:
91-96 Body conversion using OEM body parts + lights
Brand new paint - BC/CC, epoxy sealer, all factory paint removed
Rebuilt headlight motors, all new lights and bulbs
New carpet (black)
Sony Xplod speakers (6x9 rear, 4" door)
120w cd player, Aiwa or something like that (from bestbuy)
1993 Sawblade rims, good tires
Slotted + cross driller rotors, new pads
All new weatherstrip
New windshield

I'd say it's at least 480hp, but I think it's more. Have not taken it to the track. It was fun to build, cost me about 20k total. All machining was done by Miller machine in Haverhill, ma. Everything is balanced and machined to spec, all clearances, etc. Block was descked so the pistons are .005" in the hole, and use a .039" head gasket to attain .044" quench. The pistons are inverse dome, mirroring the combustion chamber of the aluminum Trickflow heads.

The comp-306 camshaft makes tons of power, and lopes at idle but with the '730 speed density ECM conversion, and tuning by me the car drives wonderfully on the street and has tons of power. It also passes Massachusetts emissions on an IM240 emissions dyno at various speeds and throttle conditions.

I want $18,500 cash, or will trade for an equal value stock C5 with a 6 speed manual transmission. Or I'll keep the car. I don't have to sell it, but I kinda wanna build an LS1 for fun.

Reply here if interested, or if you think I'm out of line.

It's been said many times, I'll say it again, a seller isn't out of line asking any price. 18.5k is what it's worth to you.
My opinion is that you'll have trouble finding someone who wants to pay 18.5k for an 87. I'm not saying you won't, I'm just saying you need to find the right buyer. Hang in there, don't sell it for less than what it's worth to you.
Pics will help.
Good luck.

True on the year, but you have to ignore that when the thing has been fully restored. Realisticly, it has about 400 miles on the motor + drivetrain, brand new paint, etc. It's a new car, with an old title. Only thing that it could use is the seats are faded, but I'm not putting any more money into the car. 20k is enough for one year. (I bought it 5/26/2006, and finished restoring it just recently).

I like the car, so the only reason I'd let it go is to trade for a C5, or equal amount of cash to pick up a 97-98 with a 6 speed.
