Mint 93 w/ tweaks, 16k miles, Michigan
Well, I hate to part with my favorite toy, but I think its time I try to move on and let someone else enjoy this more than I have time to and free up some space in the garage. So, up for sale is a '93 coupe, Quasar Blue color, 16k miles on the car. I can't leave anything stock to save my soul so there are many tweaks I've done to the car. I read the other post about selling cars with mods and have taken that into consideration. Everything I've done I think is in good taste, but I can put some things back to stock if need be. I considered taking off some things to put it more back to original, but for now I will start out as-is and priced accordingly. I can go back more to stock (except for engine) and reduce price if buyer prefers. But the way it is now, I'm still surprised how many compliments and head turns I get from a "15 year old C4".
As I said, the car has 16k on the odo now. I bought it with 11k and did the build, so the motor/suspension/brakes/etc has approx 5k on it. I'm not a racer by any means so the car has not been abused. I had it on a dyno once and about 5 passes down the track one evening just to see what it would do. Outside of this, it's just been a great street car and made the rounds to local shows and cruise-ins. What it really needs though is someone who will drive it more.
Body: Original Quasar Blue metallic that is regularly Zaino'd. Only items repainted are the '95/96 side fender updates (still have the originals). Original hood/gas lid emblems replaced with chrome GS/CE emblems.
Picture
Interior: Pretty much like new from showroom. Gray color, all original.
Picture
Glass: Mint; 50% tint on side glass and rear hatch.
Driveline: Stock 6 speed manual with Hurst shifter. Stock 3.45 rear axle. Cryo’d rear spindles.
Wheels/Brakes: AFS 9.5" front, 11" rear chrome. BFG KD tires around. Rear tires have less than 100 miles on them. Front brakes have the C5 retrofit – adapter brackets, coated calipers, C5 rotors, S/S brake lines, Hawk HPS pads, DRM bias spring. I can put the brakes back to stock.

Suspension: Vette Brakes sport springs, lowering kit, Z07 stabilizer bars (30 mm front/24 mm rear), RD Racing Camber Brace, polyurethane bushings in the front, front suspension completely polished (did I mention I'm **** too). I can put the suspension back to stock.
Engine: 383 cubic inch stroker LT1, Scat crank, Oliver forged rods, BRC forged pistons, heads (2.02i/1.60e valves) and intake ported by Lingenfelter Performance Engineering, 11.6:1 compression ratio, 52 mm throttle body, Breathless Vortex Ram Air, Comp Cams roller 224i/230e duration at .050” (276i/281e advertised) 112 LSA .537i/.544e lift with 1.6 roller rockers, Canton road race oil pan, Melling high volume oil pump, Hooker long tube headers, Spec Stage II clutch
The motor looks like a work of art in itself. The headers, intake, throttle body, alternator, and accessory bracket were all coated. Adds a little bling, but not over the top. Looks like polished aluminum finish, but maintenance free. Definite attention getter though. Tuning was done by me and a buddy (fellow forum member) on a Saturday afternoon. It has worked fine for me and is very streetable, but a pro might be able to get a little more out of it (no offense John). Exhaust note is very tame. Long tubes and no cats, but stock resonator with Dynomax (I think) mufflers. No resonance on the road, opens up nicely when you apply the right foot. You really only hear the cam at idle.

Dyno results: 390hp/390ft-lb at the wheels on a Mustang dyno
This is a fun car to drive and an extremely tight ride. The only problem I've had since the build was optispark and the reason why the car sat most of last year. I just last week upgraded to the MSD opti and have it installed and it seems to be running great again. The ONLY complaint I have is the forged internals of the motor are noisy for a couple minutes at cold start. I had concerns about this, but have been reassured by mechanics and here on the forum that it's the nature of the beast. But I have to put that out there so no surprises. I’m probably over exaggerating the issue.
Price: I'm going to start at $17,000 and see what the interest level is since its early in the season. I understand the mods aren't for everyone, but you don't find C4's in this condition every day either. I'm open to feedback on this. I'm basing this number more on miles/condition than value of the mods.
Sorry such a long post. I’ve obviously provided a lot of details, but if you need something more specific or more detailed pics, feel free to email or PM me.

You are correct about nice C-4's turning heads and that is one beautiful '93. I am sure you have a ton of $$ in mods and the asking price of $17K sounds in line for a low mileage, mint coupe. Be patient and you should have no problem finding a buyer.

Beautiful Car! I see no reason why you wouldn't get your asking price of $17K. It would be a hard to let this car go from what I've seen of your pictures. Good Luck with the sale!

Low miles
Great color combo
Very nice job, youve dumped some coin in that beauty!
Bet someone out there is looking for a car like this and will appreciate what it has going for it.
Good luck

Thanks for the feedback guys. I really had no idea on price or how the C4 market is anymore. I've been absent from the forum for too long I guess.

Well guys, I have a pending sale. I will post back if it falls through. Looks like it will be going back home to Bowling Green. I didn't think it would go this fast. Thought I'd at least get to drive it until Memorial Day. I'll miss it.

I WILL take good care of her, if you are ever in BG, PLEASE stop by and take her for a spin!
You've modded the car just as I would have so it's gonna look and drive just like it does now for a LONG time!!!!!!!!! I've got my CE for the radical stuff.
I'll give you a call later today.
