Default 94 Convertible - 63,000 miles Admiral Blue - IA

I have for sale my beautiful 1994 Corvette Convertible. 63,000 miles. It is loaded with factory options such as - FX3 Adjustible Suspension, G92 Performance Axle (3.07), J55 brakes, Automatic Transmission, Dual Power Seats, Electronic Air, Bose Gold CD and others. At 60,000 miles, the opti-spark distributor was replaced with a brand new MSD unit. If you know anything about the LT1/LT4 engine you know the Opti can go at anytime. This is no longer a concern! At the same time, we replaced the spark plugs, plug wires, water pump and thermostat with GM Delco parts. I've owned this car for 12 years and am the second owner. It has always been stored indoors, had exceptional maintenance and been treated like the special car that it is.

The white stripe is professionally-installed, highest quality 3M vinyl. If it's not to your liking it's easily removed. The car still wears it's original paint (Admiral Blue) and the paint on this car is nearly perfect. The car is a Grand Sport tribute car - but it's not a real GS as those were only made in 1996. They also had 6-speeds and an LT4 engine. If you found a real red-guts GS convertible (they only made about 40 of them) for under $45,000 you would have yourself a bargin. You can drive this car for much, much less. It turns a lot of heads.

If you are seriously interested you can PM me or give me a call at 515-707-4040. You won't be disappointed. Thanks! Tim

$12,900 - would consider trade for a 6 speed yellow C5 convertible or Z06 with low miles. No other trades considered. thanks (wheels now are real A-molds on new tires as in bottom pics)

Is the interior color original if not what color was it and how long have the stripes been on the car ? Sometimes decals leave a shadow when removed.

Thanks for your replies. The top is white and is the original top. The stripe has been on the car for approx one year. The car is in the garage 100% of the time when it's not on the road. No problems (fade, rock chips, scratches, etc) under the stripe - guaranteed.

The car was originally Admiral Blue with a Grey interior. I traded interiors with a forum member about 5 years ago. The interior is in very good shape. It has red seats and door panels with black carpeting - just like the real GS does.

Default start them young

I am imprressed with how your daughter is "into" detailing the car. When my daughter was this age (she is now 35 with 3 children) she would help wash the car on hot days. God forbid she had to use spray detailer! Did they even have it way back in the day? LOL!

Beautiful car, best with the sale. Does the detailer go with the car?

Thanks! She is a little bit of a perfectionist like her dad. She likes car shows and riding in dad's "cool cars". I will be happy to provide a full bottle of Adam's detailer with the sale of the car - but the "detailer" is priceless and precious and stays with daddy!

Could you post pics of the interior. Is the exhaust original or aftermarket?

I will try to get some interior pics put together and posted up. It's in very good shape - the passenger seat is brand new and the drivers seat is 8/10. I do have a new cover for it as well - and it goes with the car - it's just not installed as the seat still has lots of life left in it. The dash and all the interior bits and pieces are in great shape also. The car has been babied during the 12 years I've owned it.

The oil is always Mobil One synthetic, the transmission fluid is new, the fuel filter is new, the coolant was changed at 30,000 miles and again at 60,000 miles when we did the water pump and opti.

Always stored inside and in a heated garage, never driven in rain or winter conditions.

The car has a cat-back Magnaflow exhaust. Nice burble - but no resonance at any speed.

Thanks - it's been a lot of fun owning and driving this car. I even enjoyed changing the minor exterior details like the fenders and all the emblems over to the GS style. I think it's right on the money given all that has been done to the car maintanence-wise. The bill for the new opti/waterpump/plugs/wires etc was around $2,000 iirc.

Either an LT1 car has had these things done - or it will need them done soon given that they are all at least 14 years old!
