You must post an asking price, per rules. Can you post some pics?

Default 87 vette

Well I don't think so I bought my Vette for $4800 last year.It was a one owner with 65,000 miles all original completely loaded with every option for a 1986 model.Paint and interior is perfect. They are out there if you look and have patience. Some people want C5 prices for a C4 ain't going to happen. My Vette also came with new tires and battery.

Cars are worth what someone will pay for them. I have seen 10k cars go for $4,500 and seen 6k cars go for over 10k. Often its people who dont know **** about cars on both sides.....lol

Pictures would be cool though of this car.

How can his with less miles, no repaint, and in such good original condition be worth less than yours? Just wondering.

That has nothing to do with his for sale.
If you wish to know why ask in pm.

Based on what? The color and miles? Nothing else in the ad indicates a value other than the OP's "make offer near"

Because he has a 1 of ONLY 900

Default 87 vette

Thats why when I buy a car I don't leave it to emotion.I look at N.A.D.A ,Kelly Blue book Private seller prices and go from there.Admiti dly I got a good deal on my Vette. But without more info from the original poster and pics a buyer doesn't have a reference place to start.Other than book value.

" Book " value only has merit at a stealership

Collector cars, even ifn' a C4 kinda stretches that

can't go by " Book "

wanna 21 y/o car in New condition ..??

you won't find it on a dealers lot

this car wouldn't be for sale, less the fact that i bought a friends Z06

and thats why i didn't put a lot into this Ad

i doubt very much a long distance buyer is gonna pay $1300 - $1600 to get a C4 home

Local customers are welcome to look

sometime i'll get around to pix

I have a few years, and a few cars under my belt, to include a '66 Impala S/S, '66 Malibu 'vert, '70 Chevelle S/S 454...
that I bought new, and still own

hey ...
they were $3000 cars back then ..

your comments just reinforce my feeling that i'm wasting my time posting " for sale " here

simply for dicks to find fault with everything

get my drift ..??

That is where you are wrong.I bought my Vette on E:bay.I paid to have it shipped from California to Connecticut.Over 2,500 miles away. Now who's the Dick.I am looking at a one owner in califonia with 35,000 miles on it,and would not balk at paying the shipping fees. Your just blowing smoke up some ones butt.

Default Vette

All the stuff you mention don't add squat to the price of your Vette .NObody expects to recoup every thing they put into a car over the years. You are just trying to get your money back on what you spent on the Z06.C4's are not collectables yet.I could buy your $6000 car twenty times over,Thats all its worth.I see you like to see whats up peoples butts.
