Didn't know that, but it is my opinion that it is worth $16.5k. Whatever it costs, it is a most excellent example of a C4 with low mileage that can be enjoyed for many years and likely sold for more than it is worth today as the C4s hit that 30 year old range where they start appreciating.
Not that the car won't need some maintenance as they all do, but this has been a trouble free car for the time I owned it.

I see it on Craigslist and it is the one I sold. I also included a number of spare parts that he is including. Likely well over a $1000 of spare parts (spare ecm, quality car cover, new but not installed optispark, etc.) Good buy in my opinion. Who knows with older cars, but this car never gave me any trouble and never required any extraordinary maintenance and was just a good car. Start right now, get you where you wanted to go and get you back, with no drama, and in real style.

I gather from your posts that he is not the intended type of purchaser you were hoping for. It seems he is having a hard time flipping it.
Older cars of the right type tend to have lower odds of having surprise problems. Steady maintenance helps keeps a close eye on things as well.
It really is a beauty. Thanks for your help!

Yes, the sales price was $13,000. I had it listed for well above that for a while, but wanted it to go to a good home, so lowered it. I had thought of selling it at Mecom in Monterey in August but after looking at the fees, the cost of staying in Monterey during that huge car week and the cost of transport up there, decided just to lower the price. I think $17,000 was a likely auction result.

A good home, eh... Well, I'll say this...
My home wouldn't be flipping it, if my home had got ahold of it.
Thank you for answering my questions, I appreciate your taking the time.

Hate to say this, but considering the economy issues and my own personal health,I may be putting this excellent ruby vert for sale again.I haven't been able to enjoy it like I had hoped(few hundred miles of use) Having issues with my diabetes is depressing at the least. If anyone has any interest.LMK
