I have every receipt that I ever spent on this car and this massive pile of paperwork will accompany the vehicle. If I had to guess how much I spent on this car since I purchased it, which was around 1995, I'd estimate the cost to be around $75k, probably more.

I have this vehicle currently insured for $65k and I'm only paying $420/yearly because it's insured as a collector vehicle.
The builder, Chris Petris, is well known in the Corvette industry. He worked with John Greenwood and ran his own department years ago while working at Ecklers. He spent 8 1/2 years building this car because he's a perfectionist. And because I kept on adding things onto the above mega list for him to do to this car.

I know I won't get out what I invested in this build but there is no 85 like this one on the planet. It's never been raced, despite having cam locks and a rollbar. I basically had them installed for looks. The car is a rocket, reliable and so damn fun to drive. The original Atari style dash gauges are gone and have been replaced with new AutoMeter gauges.
No expense has been spared in this build. Every nut and bolt has been replaced. Every part has either been upgraded or replaced. I told Chris that I did not want to cheap out on anything. For example, the tires alone cost me $1,600. The radiator $500. The 383 stroker engine with superram, thousands. If you carefully read the above list, you'll see why this car is the best 85 on the planet and beyond.

My price is $35k which I believe is an extremely fair price, especially for the amount of money and time invested in this incredible machine.

I can be reached at (941) 228-5288 or just shoot me a question/response through this site. Thanks for looking!

How's the gas mileage? I'm guessing you're seeing about 30 - 32 MPG on 87 Octane

All kidding aside, that is a beautiful car, 100% upgraded, well done

Thx, appreciate the comments. I wish I got 20 - 22 mpg. I'd estimate that I get around 16. When I'm on the highway, I can't help but accelerate to 60 in seconds and I can literally see the gas gauge going down. And as you guessed, the minimum I can run is 91 octane. I used race fuel once. Only cost me $125 for a fill-up.

Thank you very much. Many people don't understand what it takes to transform a stock car into what my car is now. They just can't believe the time and money it takes to do these kinds of modifications. If you carefully read the list of parts I invested in, I opted for the best parts that were available. No Chinese anything; only hi-performance top of the line parts.

I've had a couple of bites but nothing serious. I know that it's a lot of money for a C4, but in my opinion, my car is one of the best C4's on the planet. There's no way someone could replicate my car for what I'm asking. Not even close. And to be honest, if someone came at me with a reasonable offer, I would definitely consider it.

Anyway, I appreciate the fact that you realize my asking price is within the realm of normalcy.

Take care and Save The Wave.

Thx. I didn't even know they had an international sales section. I recently had the car on Fleabay and I received several emails from people who really liked the car but no offers. I think I will try the intrnl route. Thx again.

Default Newly lowered price

My new asking price has been lowered to $35k. This price is so much lower than what I have invested in her and I'd rather keep her rather than sell her for less. So if you want an incredible machine with zero issues, this car is for you.
