Hey retro guy....I don't believe I am breaking any rules (maybe yours) I am aware that pictures are worth a 1000 words.
......I really don't need you to tell me that, especially with capital letters. My Choice to place my ad this way. I have my reasons. If you have an interest or curious, or a buyer use the either phone number.
regards to you...

So far with all the "I'm interested" or "project interest"..there is NO phone calls!!!............ ...What is the motivation to write (via forums) everyone there " interested?"...if I'm interested in a vehicle, I look for a phone number and call the seller and get the information to determine my interest .... good luck to all that are interested...bob

It is possible to find the right person looking for the right car on a site like this. The seller for his part should be forthright and informative so that he clearly conveys the state of the vehicle he is trying to sell. It gives the buyer a warm fuzzy. The seller's posts should come across as sincere and trustworthy. If he posts a series of rude comments with little supporting information about the vehicle. He may find it difficult connecting with buyers. This isn't the case with you bob. You have been forthright pleasant and informative from the start. I don't know what has gone wrong in this instance. I do know one thing. You could be claiming to have a new ZR1 at that price and I would still hate giving you my money. Goodluck....

I've been following this thread. If I didn't already have too many unfinished projects your ZR1 would be appealing. I can appreciate your frustration that the car remains unsold. While I'm a newbe here, I'm pushing 70 trips around the sun, so its not my first rodeo. At the risk of raising your ire, I find that potential buyers need lots of information. I doubt that getting into a pissing contest with forum members will help attract that right buyer Good luck with your sale..

I have 3 revolutions less around the sun then you, so respectfully this is my point of view....... FYI the link that was left earlier, take a look, its very informative... if that inspires ONE's passion and curiosity then its best to have a phone call after that. Your absolutely correct about pissing forum members off, but in my world the 9k price speaks for itself, and there are SOME very impolite members... no one in there right mind would ONLY purchase off an ad with out speaking with the person over the phone and then in person... thanks for your input

Maybe just soften up your words just a teentsy weentsy bit..... I get that youre wanting a phone call for a serious buyer... that stands to reason. But you have to admit, most of your replies have been less than polite... I mean YOURE the one trying to get someone else to hand you $9,000. It would pay off for you to be a little more cordial in your responses. Sometimes people can be frustrating in their inquiries... I get that... you have to be patient though when selling something is what I've found. I wish you good luck with your sale.

Dear 81c3 ....There are a number of ways to look at my responses.
1. If I am so direct, expect an accurate, honest. straight forward description, with no fluff, the car is what it is.....my description of
a well used, no accident, clean title (have car fax too), original wheels
with no curb damage, original paint (with rock chips) some nu weather
stripping, 3;73 gears, no rust etc etc etc...etc cuts through lots of possible b/s..
2. On the other side of the coin, rather then write and write, give me
5-10 minutes on the phone (818-257-3106) and I can give you examples of conversations that would give a Full understanding
of my new approach....... please note also there have been some great conversations with polite, curious corvette forum people.
......AT 67 revolutions around the sun under my belt, my life experience leads me to be direct, straightforward , honest with integrity. I'm looking to deal with like minded people. sorry if that pisses of some people...good luck to all

Lovely bedside manner honey.
I posted in your thread to give you a bump and as you see someone replied to it. You are too far away.
I could careless about you or your car, my interest is in building a monster c4 zr1 when the fancy strikes me.
The internet is for people to sit back and LOOK at things and communicate, once you make contact it sometimes makes it feel better to meet.
Post pics, details, bump your thread, read responses, and know your role!
