Callaway CR-1
Hi All,
As you can see from my other posts, I am in the market for a 91'-95' ZR-1. I'm also in the market for a CR-1 if you guys know of one for sale. Given the rarity, no particular requirements.
In case you don't know what a CR-1 is, its a Callaway ZR-1, hence CR-1. Below is a link that will help fill in a bit of info.

Thanks. People often say a car is worth whatever someone will pay. Well, that's not true in the least. The market is the market, and most cars have enough sales to create a market. The CR-1 falls into a different category though. Logic says that the CR-1s should be worth about $30-50k at most. But the prices are around $100k. With the CR-1s, its a case of no one wants to sell unless a ridiculous offer is thrown their way. I doubt I will find one that makes sense and likely end up with an standard ZR-1 or a Callaway supernatural aerobody if I want to spend a few dollars more. But I can dream.

The one at the Moroso Show is a 1 of 1 LM Bodied ZR-1 SNAT 490. It's also with all options from brakes and suspension, to the LM Body. The last LM which sold, was not an LT5 powered car, and sold well over double your offer. Basically, what it was when new, and was like new, too.
Back to a CR-1, price depends on car and options. Some have sold for mid-50s. Bargain? Since there are rarely cars for sale, it's probably closer to priceless... No CR-1 cars are available today, but if one were, It'd be over 100k., given the one I am thinking... Hope this helps.

I wouldn't sell for 100k FYI but that has to do with the fact that my CR-1 tops the list of my dream cars. I can't think of what i would replace it with for 100 or even 150k. I don't intent imply my cars worth as I am no expert. I do however know what it's worth to me.

Car is near $100k. Thanks.

Thank you. I saw that one. Love it. Now I'm trying to convince the wife to let me have it.
