1984 Clean C4 Tan Targa for sale.
The car is taken care of mechanically and cosmetically. Car is beautiful and garage kept. It's in original stock collectors condition. Everything works in the car, needs nothing else and ready to go. Did 60k miles service ~1000 mile ago Including new brakes, engine oil, and filter change, brake fluid flush, replace air filters, replace spark plugs, replace drive belts, cooling system flush, diff service. Rare color. Clean car. Clean title. The car is locating in Rancho Cucamonga California. Price lowered to $13,000.

That looks like an 84 dash cluster. Also, for that kind of money more interior shots, an engine shot, and more details on RPO codes would be helpful. Good to know if it's a Z51 car and rear gear ratio.

The Atari dash was used 84 thru 89
He also has it switched to KM/H readings

Looks like the exhaust has the turned-down dumps, like an 84. Didn't 85 have tailpipes that dumped straight out the rear?

The Atari dash was different in 84, looks as pictured, it changed in 85 and up.
Good catch on the exhaust, this is most certainly an 84 or is an 85 restored with 84 parts.

May also want to explain why the molding is painted the body color. 90% of the time that is done due to a very cheap respray where the body shop didn't take the time to tape them off. If it was done on purpose and not part of a respray you may want to advise on that.
Also, you'll want to install the front air dams on the car. Those actually help with engine cooling and appear to be missing.

A shot of the engine would alleviate any doubt. 84 = Cross fire; 85 = Tuned port. Plus the clamshell underside is unique to 84.

It's very limited. 1984 was the second highest production so there are lots of them still around. Not a desirable colour by many. Appears to have been repainted at some point. Missing front air dam. Lots of things to keep it from NCRS status. Lastly, and please do not take offence, you are pricing yourself out of marketable range even with the low miles.

Only the plastic molding is painted. The car is still in its original paint.
I see. Thank you. I can certainly negotiate but I need to have people come and see it make sure they are buying the car.
