1989 Corvette - $10,000

I am looking to sell my 1989 Corvette. I have been the owner for the past 6 years. Prior to me, I purchased it from a long-time Valley Corvettes of Boise member who started to restore it. The car has always been garaged and covered. All numbers match on this original car. No accidents or damage reported to Carfax. Any replacement parts and restoration were done with C-4 authenticity in mind.

Here is some info on the car:
  • Original C-4 wheels
  • 5.7 liter tuned port injection.
  • L-98, 240 HP, 335 Torque ft. lbs.
  • 9.5:1 comp. ration RWD Gas
  • 6-speed manual transmission
  • New Interstate battery
  • New fuel injectors and filter
  • New radiator
  • New power steering hoses
  • New alternator
  • New windshield
  • New multi-port injectors
  • New convertible top
  • New door seals
  • New mass air flow sensor
  • New parts are too many to mention but have receipts for proof
  • Passes Emission Testing yearly

Sold new for $39,371.00. Paint is Bright Red original and in really good condition. Interior seats are original and are nice and clean. Carpet and floor mats are redyed and clean. Mostly highway 134k miles. Prior owner drove it from Boise, Idaho to Bowling Green, Kentucky and the National Corvette Museum a couple of times too. All dash lights, radio and A/C work.

This is a jewel but no 30 year old Corvette is without its problems:

  • The convertible top Velcro strip on the driver’s side is a little loose.

For 30 years old this car is good looking and a kick to drive. It turns heads when I drive it (typically 1-2 times a month) because life interferes. Right now I am listing it at $10,500, and I think it is a fair price. Thanks for looking!
