yeah, but I should have brought the LSV so we could have had the "fraternal brothers" both at carlisle. next year for sure.

I was great to see the green monster off the lift and putting the power down.

you will be very happy with that car. I hate to sell the 93 as it's been a fantastic ride for me (my first LPE), but the 95 was pricey and I can't really justify keeping them both.

It's indeed a sharp car that just needs a new home, I only have a 1 car garage and the 95 sleeps there now.

good to meet you frank, good luck with the Zs!!

car will be at the Dulles Expo Corvette show Sept 21, Vette's at OC on Oct 3/4, and the Skyline drive crooze on Oct 25.

the 93 is the first year of the 4 bolt 405 horse LT5 and the last year to retain the glove box. very nice car.

like to sell before winter, only have 1 garage and the 95 spends most of the time there.

hope to see you there!!

Yeah... supposedly Koons bailed on the sponsorship money and Northern Virginia Corvette Club had to cancel the show. Ron, are you a member of NVCC? I was a member for 6 years, and was their VP for 2 years and Concours chairman for 2 years. Just curious...

need to sell this car before the Oct 25th Skyline crooze so I can drive the 95!!! the car will be getting a fresh borla challenge exh coming off my 95 as I am upgrading to a B&B.

the current borla is a 2.5 system and the challenge is a 2 3/4. also added a JEAL chip which picked up the performance. time for another dyno day.

car will be in the OC Vette Beach Crooze this weekend and also the Skyline drive crooze on Oct 25th. if the care doesn't sell by end of oct, I will put in the corvette trader. I have my "daily driver" back on the road now so there is some pressure to sell, please no low ball offers, car goes for 40k or stays right where it is!!! the LPE ZR1s are very collectable as are the 93 ZR1s and the combination is tough to beat. hope to see you at OC or Skyline

the OC vette crooze was a treat, around 1100 vettes and over 500 paraded down the boardwalk. really a great time.

the 93 is still available, car will be at the skyline crooze on Oct 25th

Default Re: Lingenfelter 1993 ZR1 (Last Ride)

thanks last ride. car is awesome, but I have stepped up to a bit more power in the 390 95 LSV ZR1 and am getting some pressure to "thin the heard". I have 6 cars and it's a little tough to keep up with all of them.

keep in mind,

the 93-95 are very rare (448) and the LPE conversions are HIGH DOLLAR and really add to both the performance and strength of the LT5 which is already top notch. the LPE conversions are bullet proof and go like stink. you can run this car hard for 150K miles plus and not have any worries beyond basic maintenance.

the ZR1 will run an honest 7500 RPM at will and pulls hard all the way there.

one ride, and you will be sold.

car will continue to get more improvements, price is firm and stays the same, I need to sell it soon.

cya @ the skyline crooze, Oct 25th!!!

FYI,

car will also be traveling to SGC in Thomasville Ga in Nov for the South East LT5 Registry Gathering. if any folks down that way are interested, I will be happy to take you for a ride and give you a very honest description of the car.

this is probably 1 of about 10 of the 93 475 cars. the "guts" are super strong and the car runs awesome!!! all the ZR1s are paid for so please no low ball offers or trades please. thinking of another house with more garage space so I can keep it.

if you want this car, act now, it's going in the corvette trader and ebay.

Hope it goes well.

I just have **** poor timing or that car would have been gone a long time ago. I will be looking for a 92-93 LPE ZR1 in black.....and I WAS from MD/DC on top of that.... :banghead:

It gonna take another 2 years to find one again........if at all.

Just not the time....but good luck
