Again, is there any way you can get me a detailed list of all mods to the car? Also, any scratches on the car? A/C works? SES light? How is idle? Would it be able to make the 500+ mile drive without a hiccup?

I'm not positive about a c5 but changing a c4 cluster will not change the milage, I spent the better part of 4 hours changing one just for the same milage to appear, I suspect the c5's are the same. There is a module in the console under the radio that keeps up with the milage. It must be serviced by the dealer.

and when you swap out a c5 cluster it does change the milage of the car on a c4 i do not know for sure
