### For Sale ### Black 6spd C5 Roadster $16,000
I am selling my Black 2000 C5 convertible with 88K miles on it. It was my daily driver that took me back and forth to West Palm everyday on I 95. It runs great and is capable of getting over 30 mpg on the highway. It needs rear tires and some paint on the front end to fix the clearcoat on the right front fender, headlight cover, and chipped paint on the lower front bumper cover. I bought my C5 in July 2005 (45,000 miles ago) and I currently have it in storage and only drive it around the block to keep the battery up and the AC crankin. I drove it recently to show it to a guy on the otherside of town who has a highly modified C5 ragtop and knows a lot of Corvette guys who might be interested in the my car. It ran perfect and after looking the car over he said it was a nice car. Quite a complement coming from a guy who has a similar car with about $30k in mods. If you are looking for a great driver that looks good, this six speed convertible is a great buy!

3 That black Volvo in the background is my daily driver now...That is what the Florida economy has done to us

5 This shows the fender and headlight cover I started sanding
6 If you look close, you can see the paint chips on the bumper cover at the bottom of the foglight openings. I have the stock license plate opening cover if you prefer; I like the clean look of the smooth cover w/o the ‘CORVETTE’ letters and I was looking forward to painting it black

8 There was a small tear (1 inch) in the top fabric when I bought the car, so I glued a small leather patch on the back side and it still looks the same after 45,000 miles

13 Notice the Z06 shifter…It shifts GREAT!
14 This was the mileage on the car when I took the pics (more now).
15 K&N filter, cold air intake and Vinci mass air
16 You can see how the clearcoat is pealing on top of the fender behind where I sanded the fender

20 That is my wife’s little turbo car in the background…Now she has the fastest car in the family
It has an x-pipe with glasspaks on it now and I have the stock cats and a Borla catback with single tips that go with the car. I love the car, but my negative cash flow forces me to part with it. I wanted to paint the front end and put tires on it before selling it, but job conditions here in Florida force quick sale. I hope you enjoy the car as much as I have for the last three years and 45,000 miles.

damn... just the car I wanted. If it had 25k less and no paint issues I would ****** it up in a heartbeat. If the price ever comes down let me know and I will definitely be interested.

You wouldn't be interested in any trades would you?

John:
Thanks for your interest in my Corvette. I have several guys interested in it for the asking price, but nothing has changed hands yet. I need to sell it soon and I think it is a good price, for a good car, with mostly highway miles, that needs little work. Tires is all it needs to get it ready for a trip to California!
Thanks - David x USMC.
