Can anyone tell me any history on a C5 Vette VIN 1G1YY22G9Y5102552

Would really like to know where the car has been and what area it is registered in right now, accidents, floods, thefts, ect.

Any help / info would be appreciated.

You should be able to go to Carfax.com and purchase a report for that car.

Didn't want to do that because I don't know if this car is a scam post on the classifieds. It gives no phone number or no location either. Makes me suspicious. Says the Vette is Disability Equipped which I don't know if it is even a ligit post - so didn't want to waste money on research for a possible scam post. I emailed the poster and no reply yet so I thought someone here could cure my curosity so I don't sleep on it.

If I had already seen the car and seen the VIN personally I would not mind spending the money on a report.

you can ask for a GMVIS from any dealer...

no no...GMVIS is basically a GM Vehicle History Report it will have anything ever done to the car at the dealer, recalls etc....its easy to get. Post in Off Topic and ask nicely if anyone can do a GM VIS for you we have several people who can do this

Although the list of repairs seems long there is nothing really major.

Perhaps the owner was very fussy?

I would be more interested in the vehicle history report if it was full of claims.

I ran an AUTOCHECK on this VIN and it came back with no reported accidents, one Title correction in 2006. It has had 2-3 owners and has been around the outskirts of Detroit since new.

Scored 88 on their scale with average scores for this car shown as 74-91.

The person selling this 2000 Vette never emailed me back and they did not have a contact phone number or location. It was priced under 10k - so I think it was a scamm of some kind. Oh Well !

But I REALLY do appreciate ALL of the wonderful help you guys gave me.
