I found this car for sale and I'm drooling over it. It's a 2000 6 speed that seems extremely clean, but it has 109k miles on it. They are asking $14,000, with a 3 month unlimited mileage mechanical warranty. What do you guys with MUCH more Corvette experience than me think? Does the mileage scare you?

i would either say try to get em down a little bit more on the price or just save a litlle more $ and try and find 1 with a little less mileage

Do they have the stock wheels? have you tried to talk them down any ? especially if you have cash .... what about pics of the inside ?

Looks good but take someone with you who knows these cars. You can really get screwed if you don't know what to look for and how to test the various systems.

Yeah, that's what I've heard. Unfortunately, I don't know anybody with a Corvette...just you guys! It does come with a 3 month unlimited mileage mechanical warranty...

I would say try and talk them down. The LS1 engine is a very well mad engine and, as long as it is taken care of, can get you well over 100,000 miles.

To put things in perspective though when I was searching for my vette earlier this year I was looking at a Black 2000 with 18,000 miles on it for $17,000. Original owner and the car is in great condition. I ended up passing on it because I had my heart set on a Z06 or Convertible.

Hope you can find what you are looking for.

Well looking at the Bowling Green Vette it seems a little dirty and it has a C6 emblem on the back and the plate covering the ashtray is the wrong one and the hvac light looks like its not working which doesnt prevent the air from working but.. and you should check to see if the oil pressure gauge is pegged , it looks like it has had some work done to it are all the key fobs there?

I couldnt get the pic to come up but check it out it looks clean but it has the stock wagon wheels but they are chromed at least.

Thanks...that's the kind of info I need! I did notice the fake LS6 plate on the interior...not a good sign in my opinion.
