2002 Z06 - Yellow w/ Mod Red, 57k miles, $18.5k
Hello, I am looking to sell my beloved 2002 Z06 with 57k miles on the clock. I'm the 2nd owner of this car, buying it from the original owner almost 6 years ago when it had 17k miles. This car has been a road trip king for me in the time that I've owned it, most of the mileage I've put on has been taking long road trips with my son and doing the Hot Rod Power Tour. I am fanatical about taking care of it, so it is in pristine condition, as close to new as a 57k mile 15 year old car can be.
I bought it bone stock back at the beginning of 2012 and I have done a few things:
-Lowered using C6 bolts with alignment
-OEM C6Z brakes with hawk ceramic pads
-Forgestar CF5 wheels 18x9 / 19x11 with Nitto Invo tires (265/305) - tires have probably 15k miles on them and are in great shape.
-Dynatech LT headers with catted x-pipe and dyno tune which included plugs/wires
-K&N cold air intake
-Billy Boat quad tip bullet exhaust w/ black tips
-MGW shifter
-Custom leather steering wheel (from Down South Vettes)
-Leather shift boot, e-brake handle, e-brake boot and C6 shift **** – all black with red stitching. All came from Down South Vettes
-Metal gas pedal and foot rest
-Leather covered door panels with red stitching from Apsis
-35% tint on side and rear windows
-iPod connection on factory radio
-more coats of Zaino than I care to admit
Never had any damage/repairs or given me any problems.
Truly no disappointments here, the only reason for the sale is I've decided I really want a convertible and am moving into a C6 427 vert.
I'm located in the NW burbs of Chicago and am asking $18.5k which I believe is very fair for this car. I am sure the first person to come see it will buy it because it truly is in fantastic shape.
Here's just a few pics, if anyone wants I can get any pics you'd want to see.
Thanks!

here's pics of the seats I just took. Drivers has very little wear with no cracks and passenger looks essentially new. I'm religious with using leather conditioner, should give anyone a good idea as to the condition of the car.

Nice car, probably sell fast. Do you have the original parts?

I don't have wheels or ti exhaust, but I do have calipers, exhaust manifolds, air box and shifter, though I'd have no idea why anyone would want to go back to those parts 😉

All, the mileage on this car truly is mostly highway cruising from long road trips. It's been down HWY 1 from San Francisco to San Diego, been to Yellowstone twice, been on 5 hot rod power tours, long hauling twice and down to Disney in FL. Here's a few pics from my adventures. Car is super clean!

Boy do I miss this car. Leo, you are a lucky guy. You bought a good one. I know how fanatical I was with this car and I know Tom was just as bad (or good) as me while he had it. If you want to hear about my experience with the car, feel free to reach out any time.
