Looking to trade a Pro Street '65 Chevy II
I have a very nice, well built '65 Chevy II Super Sport, tube chassis, looking to trade for a FRC with low miles and professionally modified. I'm looking for SW, pewter, or NB, in that order of preference. I know I can't be the only one on this forum who is heavily into old school Race cars AND Corvettes. I've owned 4 C-5's and 1 C-6, a 2013 ZR1 which I sold a while ago, but now am looking for my next Corvette. The Chevy II is for sale / trade on Racingjunk, so you can check it out there, too. This is a complete build that started with an all steel shell, 12 point cage, tube chassis. This is a serious 1/4 mile or 1/8th mile race car that is somewhat streetable, meaning it is radical, but legal. Here are some of the details: 565 BBC, dyno'd @ 952 at the flywheel, professionally built powerglide w/ trans brake, 5500 stall convertor, Ford 9" housing w/ Strange aluminum, nodular rear ( 456 ), Mark Williams 40 spline axles, Strange discs on all 4 wheels, aluminum 4" drive shaft, custom stainless headers w/ aluminum exhaust and mufflers exiting in front of the rear wheels, wheels and tires are new, as is everything on the car. As I said, this is a race car, can be driven to local shows, and short drives. It's not a vehicle to take on a trip, as you are limited by the 114 octane fuel needed for the 15 to 1 compression motor,but...wherever you go, jaws drop. The car is heard before it is seen. After being a member here for many years, I know this is not going to appeal to the typical Corvette guy. I just figured that maybe I can shorten the process a little. The Chevy II on the other site for $35k turn key, and $27.5 less motor. There is much more than that invested, which is always the case. Anyone interested can text / call...440 364 4563 or post or message me here. Also....all windows are glass, roll up, and the car has a clear title. It is an original SS.

Good luck with your sale. That’s a beautiful Chevy II.
